This is the only Designated Trophy Trout area in Alaska so if you are looking for the largest rainbows on the planet this is the place for you. Although the rainbows are resident fish the peak times to fish for them is from June 8th (Opening day) through the first week in July and then in the fall from the first week in September through the end of October.
